SFA is alternativie rock, soft fluffy kittens, pulsating drum beats, candlelit dinners, bold bottom bass lines, moonlit walks on the beach, gut-busting guitar solos, cool lakeside breezes, soul scorching vocals.

SFA is Mark Slavin (vocals), Groucho Marx, Gabe Stallman (lead guitar, vocals), Theodore Roosevelt, Noah Chieco (drums), Elvis Presley's Dad, Alex Schettino (bass, vocals), Popeye (the sailor).

About SFA

The band Sympathy for Achilles, is comprised of four extremely talented young musicians, Mark Slavin (vocals), Gabe Stallman (lead guitar, vocals), Noah Chieco (drums) and Alex Schettino (bass guitar, vocals). Their quest is to create energetic, transformative, original, alternative rock music inspired by bands like The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles and others. They are excited and grateful to be part of the lively and creative music scene thriving in New York's Capital District, and feel a warm kinship with their community of local musicians and with musicians from all around the world. They feel humbled by the appreciation and support of their many fans, and hope to continue through their inspiration, to create great music.SFA is currently playing venues throughout the New York Capital Region, and beyond, and planning to record an album of their original songs.
